Typing without looking at the keyboard is a really useful skill. One that you will use for years to come.
The first rule of typing club is :- Don’t look at the keyboard!
Just like with reading a little practice each day really will help. Make sure you place your fingers on the correct keys! So log onto typing club at home with your school e-mail account and do a little bit each day and soon you will be able to type better and faster than Mr Connolly.
There are other typing games / programmes you can use to help build your skills. After you have mastered the home row on Typing Club, try the BBC Toybox Tool.
