This week in computing we are going to learn how to make a blog post! We don’t want to make 45 posts on our blog as these posts will be test. So like in computing we are going to have a sandbox and sandpit – somewhere we can play safely
Monthly Archives: October 2021
Our versions…
For the last few weeks, Year 4 have been busy studying a great book – The Tin Forest by Helen Ward and illustrated by Wayne Anderson.
The words and pictures have really inspired the children to write their own version of the story.
Problems with words!
Using the maths skills we have been hard learning over the last two weeks with:-
- Grid method multiplication
- Division by grouping
Today we had to use these new methods to answer word problems. It was lots of fun as it challenged us.

Blogging… What’s that?
For the first half term in computing we are learning all about blogs. By the end everyone should be able to post a blog like this on the Year 4 site. In fact Mr Connolly will be checking to see that we can!
But before we start we need to answer the Question :- What is a Blog?
So now you know a little bit more about blogs you need to look at a few and work out… What are the features? Mr Connolly has put together a few blogs from other schools, take a look at them.
