Here is a helpful way to practise your spellings at home.

Remember, it is important that you know the meaning as well as the spelling!

Topic maths homework

At the end of the week the children brought home a piece of maths homework linked to their topic learning. The context to the lesson is that we discovered how the Anglo-Saxon justice system worked and how it compared which today’s justice system. We found the punishments for the crimes committed back in the Anglo-Saxon days were quite horrific and very unfair. As a year group we deemed our current justice system to be a much fairer and kinder way of dealing with crime. 

Your job in your maths homework is to try and avoid the horrific punishment by paying the right amount of wirgild to compensate for the crime committed.
